So, I’m sitting on the train this morning, observing the masses, and I noticed a man sitting there reading a foreign looking newspaper…I enjoy the look of foreign newspapers — I wonder, when I see a Chinese paper if there are names for the fonts they use. If we use “Times New Roman” and “Verdana”, and they can be recognized by people who know the difference, do the Chinese name their fonts? Anyway…that’s not what I want to talk about…
There was a man reading a Russian paper — I don’t read Russian, but I know what it looks like — anyway, there was a picture of a Russian guy (not Boris, but maybe his cousin) next to a picture of our Chief Executive, Mr. President, Georgie-Porgie. The Russian was dressed in his military best, and Mr. Bush had this look like “I just farted…do you think anyone noticed”. Ok…I’m not saying this out of support for George Jr. but I think that Americans are the only people who should be able to make fun of “W”. Where the hell do other countries get off showing pictures of our leaders that make them look like backwater, illiterate boobs!? Shit, only we should be able to do that!! We’ve gotta deal with them much more closely for a lot longer…it’s our right!!!
