Just a little too much info…
so, there’s this systems admin, let’s call her “Rebula,” that sits in the cubicle-pen next to mine, and she just announced that her “servers-have-gone-down” beepers are going to go off in a minute, so she’s going to run to the ladies room before she’s trapped at her desk for the next two hours, and no one can stop her. Then the QA manager next to her says ‘go! we don’t want to deal with the aftermath if you stay!’
Rebula goes to the bathroom, and leaves her beepers, which, of course, start to go off the minute she leaves the room!
Ok… I don’t care if you have to go to the bathroom…it’s natural! Go! Don’t announce it! And please, don’t leave a beeping reminder that you’re not at your desk because you’re still in the bathroom!!!
