proud, new owner

so…I am the proud, new owner of a Ovation Balladeer S771 (picture below).

I’ve been playing guitar for 6 years, but only seriously for about 1 1/2 years now. My old guitar is an Epiphone PR-200 (picture below), and although it has served me well, it doesn’t stay in tune as well as it should, and it was time to treat my fingers to something new.

I’m pretty much self-taught, until this past year, when I started taking lessons through UMASS-Boston. My guitar teacher renewed my drive to play, and has really challenged me — I have so much to learn, but the stagnation is gone…

    Wow! Congrats on the new member of the musical family… there’s nothing like the beautiful sound of a new guitar for a little inspiration!
