opening day predictions

wooofluckinghoooo! it’s opening day (well, last night was really opening day: Texas 6, Anaheim 3)! the Red Sox take the field at 5:15PM EST in Tampa Bay. Pedro is healthy, and starting tonight. The lineup is looking solid. Shea’s still with the team — they’re gonna be really happy they did that!

so…in the spirit of I-think-I-know-something-about-sports, here are my MLB 2003 predictions:

AL Wild Card: New York Spankmees
NL East: Atlanta Braves

    KIDDING - I’m all for a Sox pennant. Baseball season rocks!!! Now if only the snow would stop, I could start thinking of cold beer and hot sunny days in the bleachers at Fenway!
