now…let’s look at this:
Sox: 16-9 (.640); home: 7-2 (.778); away: 9-7 (.563).
KC: 17-5 (.773); home: 10-0 (1.000); away: 7-5 (.583).

There are two three-game series in the next 9 days: 3 home, 3 away.

Odds are in favor of the Sox winning their home series, 2-1. And, in theory, the Sox should lose the entire away series…

…but…

5 of the KC wins were against Detroit! Detroit — might as well have been playing against a Little League team! So, let’s edit that record…
KC: 12-5 (.705); home: 7-0 (1.000); away: 5-5 (.500).

The only common opponent, so far, has been Toronto *cough*…Sox: 4-3 (.571); KC: 1-2 (.333)

The Sox will take this home series 2-1, and will hand KC their first two home losses, 2-1!

The next bet can be for beers, when we beat you for the AL Division!
