so…vacation is moments away. I’m leaving work at 1, skipping classes, and getting mentally prepared to be away for the first vacation since our honeymoon. That was only 6 months ago, but it’s been a jam-packed 6 months.

I’m in the state of excitement and stressfulness, where I feel like I’m forgetting things I need to do but I wouldn’t know how to remember what they are, and I’m ignoring the things that I know I should be doing. What do you mean that we’re not getting out early on account of my vacation?! What a scam! If we took vacation around a holiday, like everyone else, it’s a sure bet that the office would be closed early. Well, shit, our vacation is more important!
