although it’s been going on for a while, the clock is ticking on our upcoming move to our new house. I’m not too stressed, but there’s some stirring just below the surface.

I’m not too worried about the packing, but there’s still a lot to do. We had a problem with space for all of our stuff before we started packing, and putting it all in boxes is just highlighting the problem: We have too much stuff!! But, it’s not like we even have a way to get rid of it. That’s the problem…it’s too easy to get stuff and too hard to get rid of it…

anyway…

The one thing that hasn’t been stressful has been the utilities. I know, I know…this is not an episode of the Twilight Zone. I did just say that deal with the utility companies has been easy…it’s been more than that…it’s almost been fun! Ok, not really…

I managed to set up electric, cable, internet and gas yesterday in 20 minutes!!! The electric company has a direct line to the cable company and they just transfered me. No waiting on hold, no pressing 1 to continue. 20 minutes!

Now, if I could only get motivated to do some work…
