Saturday night Erika and I went to see Eddie Izzard (he sure can fill out a dress!!!) at the Shubert Theater with her folks and my folks. Eddie was really funny (all puns intended: my face is still aching from laughing so hard at his dentist bit). Some of the sound was a little muffled, so some of the time you were focusing on what he just said insted of what he was saying, but it was great nontheless…(edit: I just saw that he’s recording a few shows in the UK from this tour for a DVD!)
Before the show we were going to go to Fire + Ice, but, to no real surprize, they had an hour and a half wiat for a party of 6 like ourselves. This has happened to us before, and this time, just like last time, we walked across the street and had no problem getting a table at the Cottonwood. I like the Cottonwood better anyway…
oh, yeah…and the Yankees lost!!
