relaxing?
so…my commute is growing on me. Each morning and night, I sit on the train with 50 minutes all to myself — I’ve managed to ignore most people on the train, except for the chain smokers which sit within a seat or two of me once or twice a week.
This morning I was lucky enough to be on a train that I could actually see out the windows; usually they are so pockmarked that it looks like it’s a monsoon outside on the sunniest of days. As we rolled along I was able to just sit and watch the countryside (yes, there is countryside in northern MA). Creeks, fields, trees, small towns and rundown houses. Creeks, fields, trees, small towns and rundown houses. Creeks, fields, trees, small towns and rundown houses. Creeks, fields, treesHOLYSHITWHATTHEFUCKWASTHATAMIDEAD, small towns and rundown houses.
There is absolutely NO warning that another train is approaching on the other track! Scares the shit out of me everytime!

Yeah, I was thinking about that, why not just face the other direction?

i like facing forward. It’s not that I get car(train)sick, I just like to sit that way…
I’m sure I’ll get used to it…

I was jealous until you scared me like that - maybe the Metro buses here are better after all…
