I love the smell of commerce in the morning

it has been a loooong day. Erika and I were up at 7AM and out for a day of holiday shopping by 8AM. A quick jaunt over the border and we made a good dent in our shopping lists — we even remembered to buy some gifts for people other than ourselves…we were good: I needed new jeans (my old one jeans are too big!) and we bought a couple of new webcams!

What’s this look for?

Either it shows my feelings about Jimmy Fallon’s new “that’s what you did” sketch, or me wondering how long I’m going to have Jet’s “Are You Gonna Be My Girl” stuck in my head (it’s bad enough that it’s in Madden 2004, but to have to sit through it before bed on SNL…), or me reacting to the 37 pop up windows that just about crashed my machine.

    it’s odd hearing people state side saying they made a quick jaunt over the border to go shopping. i guess being canadaian i am so used to hearing fellow cunucks say that they crossed the border to go shopping state side that it never dawned on me that there be anything to find on this side. :o )
