One year ago today (edit: tomorrow…I posted early), I married my best friend, and the best thing to ever happen to me.

It is one of life’s richest surprises when the accidental meeting of two life paths leads them to proceed together along the common path of partners, and it is one of life’s finest experiences when a friendship grows into a permanent bond of love. We are but strangers until we draw together and find the meaning of our lives in one another, dissolving our fears in each other’s courage, making music together and lighting torches to guide us through the dark.

I posted early because we’re off to a romantic getaway and I don’t know when we will be back tomorrow.
