Monday Morning Quarter-in-the-Jukebox: Two-for-Tuesday

With the holiday on Monday, and me thinking that it was a Sunday, I totally spaced on this, so I’m going to do a special “two-for-Tuesday” run here…

Rolling Stones:
I have really started to hate the Rolling Stones. I hate commercial radio, and I hate that they play the same 3 or 4 Stones songs over and over and over and over. The songs below do not suck…

The Rolling Stones - ‘19th Nervous Breakdown’
The Rolling Stones - ‘Mother’s Little Helper’

Stevie Ray Vaughan:
A sober Stevie…ain’t nothing wrong with that…

Stevie Ray Vaughan - ‘Life by the Drop’
Stevie Ray Vaughan - ‘Little Wing’

Miles Davis/Thelonious Monk:
Ok…not a “two-for” by the same artist, but these two songs come off the same disc, and are both written by Thelonious Monk.

Miles Davis Sextet - ‘Straight, No Chaser’
Thelonious Monk Quartet with Pee Wee Russell - ‘Blue Monk’
