ahhh, spring…training
I think it’s funny that amount of pages (2 1/2) in today’s Boston Globe sports section devoted to baseball equals the size of the Lowell Sun’s entire sports section! True, there is really no “local” results in the Globe, but, come on, it’s time for some baseball!!!
Q: How do you give me heartburn so early in the morning? You write something like this: “As the team’s prospective fifth starter, Byung Hyun Kim is scheduled to work the home opener against the Blue Jays April 9.”
A: How do I spell relief? “But don’t count on it. Rather than subject Kim to such pressure, the Sox are considering starting him in the fourth game of the season, April 8 in Baltimore, and having Tim Wakefield work the home opener”

What’s with Pedro’s haircut on the front page of the Globe’s sports section today? He looks like Sam Jackson from Pulp Fiction.
