a night with the thompson twins
no…not those thompson twins…the real Thompson twins, Chris and Meredith.
Erika and I just got back from see the Thompson sisters at Capo’s. The sisters rocked…or, folked, as it were…as always. It was a great time! It was the first time we’ve been there. The room is huge, and there is tons of room, so you don’t feel like you’re squeezed into a table — they put two people at a table where Passim would put four. The food was great — buffalo tenders with a good kick, served with a cilantro ranch; gorganzola, spinach and carmelized pecan salads; a pork chop to beat all pork chops (the menu calls it a “big friggin’ chop”).
I wish they were a non-profit, if only to have a membership program, like Passim has.
After the show we went to Caffe Paradiso for some dessert. We had way too much sugar for our poor South Beach bodies, and now we’re twitching like mad!
