the bestest wife in the whole world, Erika, threw me a kick ass birthday party!

It was a poker themed party and everyone was there — or at least it seemed that way: Erika, Su, Reilly, Jessie, Amy, Druzba, Aram, Matt, Joe (whom I haven’t seen in about 5 years!), Erika’s folks, and my mom. The guys played poker, and the girls ended up playing a dice game called left-center-right — I won the poker game, but it was a hard fought fight against Matt.

as far as the birthday booty goes:


The Druzba’s gift: a taste of Maine (plus a few other New England states) via beer — along with a Geary’s pint glass

The Patriot’s Superbowl DVD from the Reilly’s, Miles Davis: The Columbia Years, Chick Corea: Rendezvous in New York, and the kickass reciprocating saw from my mom. Not pictured: Tiger Woods 2004 for PS2, and a PS2 network adapter from Erika’s folks; The Art of War, and Miles Davis: It’s About that Time from my dad; and a great keyboard from Erika!

And and a belated wedding gift/housewarming gift, Aram gave us this plate and bowl set.

so…I’m kinda drunk and ready for bed…
