I think we opened up a daycare center…
yesterday when I came home from work Erika was in our front yard with Walker and a few of the neighborhood kids. Walker was digging the attention and the kids wanted to play with our other cats, which were insider. Next thing I know I’m following 4 kids around the house as they were trying to find the cats.
“I think the cats are hiding.”
“Why?”
“Sometimes they get scared when there’s a lot of movement in the house. Let’s go back outside.”
“Let’s find the cats.”
Once everyone had left, Erika turns to me:
“Why do I have the feeling that we’ll be sitting on the couch watching TV this summer and four kids are just going to walk through our front door?”

No, you’re going to come home and find those kids just leaving your house and the cats locked outside

Ever seen “About a Boy”? Heh. Not only do you have cats adopting you, but kids too… at least you can always send them home! (my kid IS home, so we’re stuck)
