spiderman, meet the teamsters

so…I haven’t seen Spiderman 2 yet, but I’ve seen the commercials…a lot.

I remember seeing in one commercial that Peter Parker throws away his costume, and I just saw a new commercial where he’s putting it on — I’m assuming that he went back to the trash can to get it…

so, why isn’t the NYC sanitation workers’ union boycotting the film for exposing the lack of trash pick up?

actually that’s not what happens, you should see the movie, it’s pretty good, better than the first one in my opinion.

HE doesn’t go back to get it–but he gets it back nonetheless.

My review: great special effects; awful script.

Gets it back but not from the trash can.

Movie was awful. Too much drama, not enough action. It had moments but overall I couldn’t wait for the credits.

You know, if he DID go back into the can to get it, NYC could ticket his ass. Once you place something in a city garbage can, it becomes city property; therefore, if you take something OUT of a can you’re stealing.

I only know this because I read some guy complaining he got a ticket from one of NYC’s Finest when he pulled a nearly-new newspaper out of a city can. You know, since there’s no other crime going on.
