The tale of two cellphones
so…we got new cellphones…
We use Sprint, and I saw an offer on their website a few months ago that said we could get a new phone 18 months into our contract. Yesterday we were up in Nashua and decided to just see what the deal was all about — just see…riiiighttt.
It turned out that we were each eligible for $150 off a new phone, and for some reason we didn’t have to deal with the mail-in rebate, so we were only responsible for $60 right then. Oh yeah, then take off $50 for selling out old phones back.
Net charge? $10!
Two new camera phones for $5 each!
And to think, we were going to blow off the phone store!
Now, I could only get flickr to work a bit better…
