what do you mean? Cheese isn’t supposed to flow through my veins?

aahhhh…I think I’m beginning to be able to breathe again without laboring against my all-of-a-sudden-too-tight-clothes. Man did we EAT on thanksgiving!

We had a full house: Erika and I, my mom and step-father, Erika’s parents, and Alisa and Keegan.

The menu:
Various cheeses and crackers
Veggies and at least 4 types of dip
Tortillini Escarole soup
Carrot bread
Corn bread
Salad
Lasagna
Broccoli Quiche (but we called in cheese pie…we don’t serve quiche)
Ham
Buttered carrots
Dilled corn
Green bean with bacon and onions
Mashed potatoes
Erika’s Grandmother’s potato stuffing
Sweet potatoes
Cranberry sauce
Oreo ice cream pie
Chocolate Toffee coffee crunch cake
Pumpkin cheesecake
Coffee…lots of coffee…

I guess it doesn’t need to be said, but, we made too much food!

We managed to send most of it home with Erika’s parents yesterday morning — they brought all of the potatoes and the lasagna in a cooler, so we refilled the cooler before they woke up.

The thought of food makes me twitch right now.
