so…here’s a small conversation I had with Marc about Samson’s name:

J: so…we have a name…
M: yeah?
J: Samson Daniel
M: samson!! that’s so cool
M: named after anyone?
J: he was going to be named Samuel Atticus…but I couldn’t stop saying Samuel Adams…
M: yeah
M: that’s no good to name your kid after beer
M: (or you know, a patriot, but we all know it’s beer)
J: yeah…it’s not like I was calling him Pabst
M: have you seriously considered that? i think you should
M: so, if i were to start calling your son Pabst, I probably wouldn’t be allowed to come over and see him, would i?
J: of course you could! I mean, I might call him spring ale, summer ale, oktoberfest, winter warmer…whenever sam adams comes out with their new seasonals

I swear, I’m going to be a good father…really, I am…
