Stay-At-Home-Dad Wednesday #10
so…today was yet another Stay-At-Home-Dad Wednesday (I haven’t written much, if anything about the last 10 Wednesdays, but then again, I haven’t written anything at all during that time — see the photos instead)…
Today Sammy had to go to the pediatrician for his RSV vaccination. This is the second time in three weeks that I’ve taken him for a shot — when I take him in four weeks for his next set of vaccines, I’m sure he’s going to quickly learn how to talk and tell his mother to never leave me in charge again! He did okay. There was some crying, but it was largely because of his newly prominent stranger anxiety. Shit, if two strange ladies came at me with needles, I’d cry too!
We made a large pot of meat sauce — and by “we” I mean that I made the sauce while Sammy napped, which made it all possible. He’s a little young to enjoy the fruits of his “labor” (meatballs, hot sausages, steak and pork chops) but he did get to eat his first pasta. It was also the first time that he eat the same thing as mom and dad for dinner. He threw up.
A couple of pieces made him gag a bit and well, you know how that ends…
Future SAHDW adventures might include a trip into Boston, more shots, less throwing up, more pictures and more all-around cuteness…
