so…if the lack of passengers on this train is any indication of the state of the city today, the first day of the rest of the year is going to be long.

Adding all of the albums by Counting Crows, The Shins and Wilco to an otherwise diverse playlist of 500-600 songs will definately paint the day in different colors.

Last night, I got a text message from my brother.

My 18 year old brother.

My 18 year old brother who doesn’t use email.

It was very weird to have a 4-5 message txt conversation with him.

Weird, and cool all at the same time.

Commuting into Boston everyday, I tend to forget about all of the college student.

That is, until a holiday rolls around and they’re all waiting for the train, dragging two duffle bags full of laundry behind them.
