the one where I smell of chicken

so…in my excitement over the idea of eating more of Erika’s previously mentioned chicken tortillini soup today for lunch, it would seem that I filled my thermos a little too much.

This over-zealous act caused said thermos to leak.

Now, I think the mark of a good thermos is that it is water/air-tight and that it keeps the food or beverage hot, or cold. So far, so good with this thermos…

well, until today.

The soup leaked into the bottom of my bag, which I learned is waterproof. It’s an odd test to see if something is waterproof by pouring a liquid inside the bag, but at least I don’t have chicken soup running down my back.

My entire cube, plus the surrounding cubular clusters, smells of chicken.

It’s making me hungry.

update; I spoke too soon. While the inside of the bag kept the soup from leaking through the bottom panel, the straps of the bag are connected to the piping on the inside. They acted like a wick and are now damp with chicken soup…
