					<description>It's hard to believe they would let Lowell walk over 1 year but they've done it before with other players. Lowell is built for Fenway and will just not be the same player in Yankee Stadium. 

As for A-rod, I certainly don't want him in a Red Sox uniform but I think you have to also look at next season. Manny's contract is up and will he stick around in Boston, will Theo want to sign Manny again? If they did sign A-rod and eventually watched Manny head to the Yankees, his 40+ homers a season would come in handy. Of course once October rolled around, A-rod might as well ride the bench where as Manny is actually productive in the post season.... Just ask Kenny Lofton what he thinks of manny....</description>
