you mean writing the list isn’t the end of the project?

I am disorganized most of the time. Every now and again I will try to getting a grip on things, and that lasts about 2 weeks, and then I just slip back into my old bad habits.
Maybe these could help:
Getting things done
The Cornell Note Taking System
Project Management Checklists

flipping the pages

Grab the nearest book.
Open the book to page 23.
Find the fifth sentence.
Post the text of the sentence in your blog……along with these instructions.

you’re mad that a class has been cancelled.
Gone are the days when that meant being about to goof off. I paid for the class. And a cancelled class means that I just travelled 30 minutes out of my way, only to travel back…to go to work, no less!

“kick it up a notch” OR “I’m learneding”

Wednesday, January 21st, 2004

so…I finalized my class schedule for this semester. Normally, I take one or two classes per semester, depending on the class and its workload, my work workload, and finances for that semester. During the summer I try for two classes per session for each of the two sessions — it’s a tough one to pull […]

Books that I’ve actually finished

Friday, January 9th, 2004

Not an all-inclusive list — I used to read alot back in high school, but I’m not trying to go that far back in the wayback machine, but it does include books that I’ve read for some college classes.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J. K. Rowling (1/05)
Harry Potter and the Goblet of […]

Books that I am attempting to read

Friday, January 9th, 2004

I have a problem reading books: I get about 1/4 to 1/3 into one and then I stop reading. I don’t know why, but I lose interest, or I start a book the week before I start a class, or the book gets lost (I was about halfway through The Philosophical Programmer by Daniel Kohanski […]

ever-changing world of education

Monday, September 1st, 2003

so…according to UMASS’ online system, I’m done with school:

it’s not true, but it would be nice. Every so often, the system gets screwy…and you’ve got to figure that it’s a holiday and they’re understaffed, if they’re staffed at all today, to handle a glitch in the system. Maybe if I show this to the registrar’s […]

the shadows on the wall mean nothing at all

so, Summer 2003, as far as school goes, is in the books!!
I finished my two finals yesterday — my arm feels like it just pitched a complete game (if only I knew how to pitch). I should pull a B in both classes. And I’m fine with that.
Now, a week’s worth of rest before classes […]

let thursday begin…and hope it ends quickly

Thursday, August 21st, 2003

so…I’m on my way to my finals: Philosophy (2 hours, 4 essays), and Adolescent Psych (50 questions, 2 essays). Oh, how sweet the beer will taste tonight!
Randomness…
- it was my buddy Marc’s birthday yesterday. He doesn’t have a blog yet, but he will soon, for his trip overseas.
- I just found out that there is […]
